David Greer, founder of Greer IGS (Information Gathering Services) in 2000, is a former Police Officer with the Staffordshire Police, 1967-1997. David worked in a number of departments, serving 20 years within C.I.D., developing a broad range of experience, culminating in major incident investigation. Following 30 years of service, David was presented with an exemplary conduct medal. He was presented with an exemplary conduct certificate upon his retirement

Since retirement in 1997, David has been engaged in the security industry and providing the following services:

  • Investigator - Injury Road Accident claims and counter claims.
  • Process Server - Serving legal documents on individuals and companies.
  • CCTV Design & Installation - Covert and Overt CCTV Systems.
  • Information Gathering - Obtaining statements, documents and information on behalf of the legal profession and general public.
  • Lecturer - Preparation and delivery of lectures on Police surveillance techniques, operational procedures and security technology to support Staffordshire University’s Forensic Science degree course.
  • In addition - Greer IGS has undertaken surveillance operations and conducted Road Traffic Accident Injury enquiries on behalf of the legal profession and insurance industry.

Greer Information Gathering Services is also a member of NARPO (National Association of Retired Police Officers), is registered with the Information Commissioner (Data Protection) and is a member of the British Agents Group. He is also listed in Varsity Directory of Investigators and Process Servers.
